The cross is the most recognizable symbol of the Christian faith. And virtually all types of Christians affirm that “Jesus died to save us.” But what exactly does that mean? In today’s sermon we’ll explore several flaws in one popular understanding of the cross, and then we’ll find in Scripture a more faithful, more beautiful perspective on the meanings of Jesus’ death.
